Kazumi Mishima is a female video game character who features in Tekken.

Biography

Kazumi Hachijo (Japanese: 八条 一美, Hepburn: Hachijo Kazumi) was a Japanese female who was born a member of the Hachijo Clan (八条家 Hachijō-ke?, Hachijo Family) of assassins that operated in Japan. Her family were noted for being bearers of the Devil Gene (デビルの血 Debiru no Chi?, Devil's Blood) that eliminated people who they saw as a threat to the world. In the 20th century, they came to believe that the Heihachi Mishima was one such danger and asked the young Kazumi with the goal of assassinating him. This saw her being sent to Jinpachi Mishima's dojo where she spent countless hours in training in martial arts. Whilst there, she came to be a sort of rival to Jinpachi's son Heihachi where they became inseparable friends. In time, the two came to fall in love and got married where she took his family name where she went by Kazumi Mishima (三島 一美 Mishima Kazumi?). She eventually came to be pregnant with his child and gave birth to a healthy boy the couple named Kazuya Mishima. It was said that she was overjoyed at her son where she doted to him when he was a child.

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Kazumi Mishima was a beautiful Japanese woman who had a full fringe with long black hair tie into a bun where she had brown eyes along with a mole at the bottom of her right eye.

It was shown that she was a very determined woman who is ready to fight her opponents. Despite that, she was also shown to be mysterious, cunning and seductive.

She had been childhood friends with Heihachi Mishima where they eventually fell in love with it said that she loved her husband unconditionally. From their time together, she gave birth to a healthy young boy that the couple named Kazuya Mishima.

Powers and abilities

As a member of the Hachijo family, it was shown that she possessed the Devil Gene (デビルの血 Debiru no Chi?, Devil's Blood).

She was well-versed in the fighting style of Hachijō Karate.

It was shown that she had been a member of the Hachijo Clan (八条家 Hachijō-ke?, Hachijo Family) who were a family of assassins.

Notes

  • Kazumi Mishima was created by Namco and was voiced by actor Yumi Hara where she featured in the setting of the Tekken universe.

In other media

Films

  • In Tekken: The Motion Picture, Kazumi Mishima was referenced in the setting of the 1998 OVA film. It was said that she died shortly after giving birth to Kazuya Mishima.
