History

Pre-Crisis

Welcome to Keystone City in The Flash v2 #32.

Keystone City

Post-Crisis

Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.

Keystone remained a center of industry, home to aircraft and automobile manufacturers, including Keystone Motors. (The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive v1 #1)

The city later came under assault from the new Rogues led by the Blacksmith who staged an ambush against the Flash. However, the Thinker was making his own move to take over the city. (The Flash v2 #185) After the Thinker was defeated, the Blacksmith led her Network into openly taking over the city. To stop her, Commissioner Kenyon rallied the citizens of Keystone to rise up and take down the Network. (The Flash v2 #188)

Keystone City came under attack from Brother Grimm who grew a magic beanstalk to connect to his fairy tale realm of Eastwind. This saw a number of magical beasts attack the city whilst Grimm used this as an opportunity to kidnap Linda Park-West to become his queen. He was pursued by the Flash and Hawkman with the two heroes handling the magical creatures before confronting the villain. The Flash recovered his love Linda and defeated Brother Grimm in their duel whilst Hawkman cut down the magic beanstalk thus severing the connection to Eastwind. (The Flash v2 #191)

After the death of Bart Allen, a large scale funeral was organised at Keystone City in honor of him for being the Flash and the people mourned his demise. (Countdown v1 #43)
