The Knights of Wundagore were an organization that consisted of the New Men formed by the High Evolutionary. From his creations, the first order of the Knights were formed who were sworn to defend the New Men from any danger. (Wolverine: First Class v1 #3)

In the search of his love Jane Foster, Thor Odinson managed to determine that she was in Wundagore and followed her trail. This led to the Knights encountering him and they immediately sought to capture Thor. Upon being captured, they took their captive to their master namely the High Evolutionary. He would overpower them and demand to see Jane Foster to which he was shown that she was instructing a class of New Men about the outside world. (Thor v1 #134)

They later contacted Pietro Maximoff to get his assistance to stop the mad mystic Mordred from getting the Book of the Darkhold but the Knights were slain by the villain in the caverns of the Darque Hold at Wundagore. (Mighty Avengers v1 #22)

Overview

The Knights were sworn to defend the New Men from any danger no matter how dire the threat. (Wolverine: First Class v1 #3) In reality, the High Evolutionary had created the group to impose instant social order on the New Men after he first gave them sentience. (Wolverine: First Class v1 #4)

At their headquarters was the Round Table of the noble Knights of Wundagore. This circular table had a sword in a stone in the centre with seats present for each of the Knights. The blade was the Sword of Summoning with the code of the High Evolutionary stating that only a Knight of the Realm was able to wield it and pull it out of the stone. (Wolverine: First Class v1 #3) The Knightly Armory contained all the equipment that was used by the Knights. (Wolverine: First Class v1 #4) They made use of mechanical flying machines that they called atomic steeds. (Thor v1 #134)

Another location was the castle-like Haven that was the temporary home of the exiled High Evolutionary which was located on the Hudson upriver in New York City. (Heroes for Hire v1 #15)
