Lacrima (魔水晶ラクリマ Rakurima)
In an effort to create more powerful warriors, several groups began the practice of implanting dragon Lacrima into individuals to transform them into artificial Dragon Slayers.
It was later discovered that the Oracion Seis had managed to escape the prison leaving behind fake duplicates behind. The prison guards attempted to consult the surveillance lacrima for clues to find out who aided in their escape but discovered that these had been replaced with them losing any recordings of the time prior to the breakout.
Overview
They could be used for a variety of different feats such as being used to create fires or for communication.
