Liparus Captain

The Liparus Captain commanded the oil tanker Liparus, which he used to capture British, Russian and American submarines for Karl Stromburg's plot to star World War III. Loyal to the death, the Captain sealed himself inside the Liparus's control room when James Bond led a rebellion of the imprisoned submariners. He was fatally injured when Bond used a bomb to blow open the control room, and as he lay dying, the Captain smugly told Bond he was too late before expiring.
