German Officer

The German officer.

A German officer on Navarone, who led some troops to combat the guerrilla efforts of Andrea Stavros and Spyros Pappadimos. He confronted Pappadimos personally after the young Greek shot all of his men. The two men walked towards one another, firing their machine guns, and ultimately shot and killed each other at the same time.

RAF Pilot

The pilot at the meeting.

This RAF pilot was one of the survivors from Squadron Leader Barnsby's squadron who made the ill-fated attack on Navarone. He offered Commodore Jensen an alternate solution to a commando mission, having a pilot do a suicide run and fly a plane filled with high explosives into the gun cave. However, he declined to be the one to undertake the mission, and his suggestion wasn't taken seriously.
