Biography

Luke Skywalker was a male human who was born in the galaxy far, far away as the son of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala with him having a twin sister named Leia. His mother was pregnant with him and his sister during the end of the Clone Wars where his father had been corrupted to the Dark Side of the Force by the Sith Lord Palpatine. In an attempt to prevent his fall, Amidala attempted to appeal to Anakin on Mustafar and he mistakenly believed that he had killed Padmé along with the unborn children. In reality, Obi-Wan Kenobi took the injured Amidala where she gave birth to the twins on the planet Polis Masa but Padmé came to die after naming her children. Luke was taken by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi for safekeeping where he took the child to Tatooine where he was to be raised by his uncle Owen Lars along with his wife. The boy was raised unaware of his parentage or heritage whilst Kenobi remained in the shadows to keep watch over him. During this time, the galaxy had fallen in the dark times that saw the destruction of the Jedi Order and implementation of the Jedi Purge at the hands of the newly formed Galactic Empire.

Years later, he received a call from the Force that came from a youngling named Grogu who was seeking out another of his kind to help train him. The summons led to Master Skywalker taking an X-Wing and tracking the child to an Imperial light cruiser commanded by Moff Gideon who had kidnapped Grogu for experimentation. Arriving on the ship, Luke battled a platoon of third-generation droid Dark Troopers as he made his way to the bridge of the ship that had already been taken over by a Mandalorian bounty hunter named Din Djarin and his allies who had moved to rescue the child. Clearing out the Imperial forces, Skywalker met Grogu where he revealed to Djarin that the child wanted permission to leave with the Jedi Master. Luke had remarked the youngling was strong in the Force but that this talent alone was nothing without training. Djarin then agreed for the child to accompany the Jedi who vowed to protect Grogu with his life as he and R2-D2 then departed for his X-Wing to begin the child's training.
