Biography
Olinka Barankova was a female human who operated in the modern age. (West Coast Avengers v1 #36)
Decades ago, she was noted to had been a KGB defector who worked alongside the man that became Omega Red where she had betrayed him with him vowing revenge against her. (Iron Man v1 #297)
She came to be a subject for Project Brain Drain that sought to convert her into a cyborg and create a supermind under their control. (Solo Avengers v1 #16)

Personality and attributes
Her original identity was believed to be a woman by the name of Olinka Barankova. (Iron Man v1 #296) As part of Project Brain Drain, she was mutated and transformed into S.O.D.A.M. (Specialised Organism Designed for Aggressive Manoeuvres. (Solo Avengers v1 #16)
All memories of her previous life were noted to had been purged from her. (Iron Man v1 #296) In fact, she claimed she had no other life before her joining A.I.M. who had created her. (Solo Avengers v1 #16)
Powers and abilities
As part of Project Brain Drain, she was artificially enhanced with her human intelligence augmented to develop a supermind that could be controlled by her creators. (Solo Avengers v1 #16)
