Mary (It's Walky)

Mary was a friend of Danny, Joe and Sal from high school. A year younger than her friends, she acted the part of a deeply moral and religious girl. However, once Danny and Joe moved to college and Sal disappeared, she felt free to act on her hidden, immoral urges. She continued this behavior in secret after following Danny and Joe to college, becoming Sarah Clinton's roommate. At the same time, she took a dislike to Billie, considering herself morally superior to her. Eventually, Billie discovered Mary's secret life and revealed it to Danny and company (despite Mary's attempts to sabotage Billie's relationship with Danny). Almost immediately, it was revealed that Mary was pregnant. Displeased with her deceptions, Mary's friends distanced themselves from her.

Swallowing her pride and tossing aside her professed beliefs, Mary eventually had an abortion. She attempted to make up with her former friends during their graduation. She graduated as well, and eventually married Peter, a doctor. As of 2003, she was expecting a child. When Jason helped Sal break out of prison and was hurt, she took him to Mary. She had her husband help Jason, but in the process she revealed that she was still arrogant and judgmental. She and Sal parted on bad terms.
