Matter-Transmutor

The matter-transmutor.

The matter-transmutor was a weapon designed by an ancient civilization on Toxus III. It was an energy gun capable of transforming whatever it shot into something completely different, essentially whatever the user could think of (the user's mind was linked to the weapon with a special helmet). The matter-transmutor was recovered by the Toad Empire, and used by the Toad Air Marshall to turn the Righteous Indignation's engines into a boat anchor and their sensor array into a giant toad jack-in-the-box head. It also turned the Toad Croaker into a huge glob of icey sludge.

The matter-transmutor was eventually stolen from the toads by Bucky O'Hare and Willy DuWitt, and after figuring out how the weapon worked Willy was able to use it to reverse what the Air Marshall had done to the Righteous Indignation. He then used it to turn an uninhabited planet into a giant ape-like monster, scaring away the toads. Shortly after this, the matter-transmutor overloaded and exploded.
