Max Kalba

Max Kalba was the owner of the Mujaba Club, a quiet but devious man who dealt in stolen goods on the black market. He and Aziz Fekkesh bought the microfilm of the submarine tracking system from Karl Stromburg's secretary, intending to auction it to either Great Britain or Soviet Russia, whichever country offered to pay the highest. At his planned meeting with James Bond and Anya Amasova in the Mujaba Club, Kalba was called away to answer an "urgent" phone call. The call turned out to be a ruse, and Kalba was ambushed by Jaws. Jaws forced Kalba to hand over the microfilm, then killed him with a bite from his deadly steel teeth.
