  • Midway City was created by Gardner Fox and Joe Kubert where it made its first appearance in Brave and the Bold v1 #34 (March, 1961).

In other media

Television

  • In Justice League Unlimited, Midway City was mentioned in the shared continuity of the DC Animated Universe in the episode "Shadow of the Hawk". Carter Hall was an archaeologist that was the curator of the Midway City Museum.

Films

  • In Suicide Squad, Midway City made an appearance in the DC Extended Universe in the live-action film. The Enchantress freed her brother the Incubus by putting him in a host body that developed into a powerful form that took over the city. After she herself was freed, the Suicide Squad was deployed into the city to battle the Enchantress's minions as they were sent to recover Amanda Waller. Waller was shown to hold an operations center situated in the city's John F. Ostrander Federal Building. Two other locations shown were the Midway City Business District and the Midway City Airport.
