During this time, he revealed that the Monitors had exterminated her people with Forerunner swearing revenge against the Monitors and vowing to avenge her race. (Countdown v1 #43) He next appeared on the reborn Earth-3 where he recruited the Crime Society into his army. (Countdown v1 #31) Afterwards, he continued his voyages through the Multiverse alongside Forerunner as they arrived on Earth-8. This saw him recruit Lord Havok and the Extremists into his Multiversal army. (Countdown v1 #29) He made a similar offer to Donna Troy, Jason Todd and Kyle Rayner with them refusing with even Lord Havok turning on him as the villain refused to serve anyone.
