Monica (Resident Evil)

Monica was an employee in the underground Umbrella labs beneath Raccoon City. Monica seemed to know Yoko Suzuki but never elaborated on their relationship. After the attack upon the labs by the Umbrella assassins and the subsequent death and mutation of William Birkin, Monica turned mercenary and stole a canister containing a G-Embryo - shooting her co-worker Frost in the process - planning to escape the facility and sell it to the highest bidder. Stealing Yoko's keycard, she attempted to use it to leave the labs via the turntable, but somehow the G-Embryo broke free of its container and got into Monica. She died before reaching the turntable, and afterwards the embryo rapidly matured into a fully-grown G-Type and burst forth from her chest.
