- The Mutant Force was created by Jack Kirby where they made their first appearance in Captain America Annual v1 #4 (November, 1977).
Alternate Versions
- In Heroes Reborn: Magneto & The Mutant Force v1 #1 (2021), the Mutant Force appeared in the setting of the Heroes Reborn universe. Under the leadership of Magneto, they came to oppose a new Mutant Registration bill that were proposed by Senator Graydon Creed. The protest became violent leading to a clash with the Squadron Supreme of America where Princess Power killed Charles Xavier whilst crippling Magneto leaving him confined to a wheelchair that he controlled through the use of his powers.
