Mutates (Gargoyles)

Mutates are humans mutated into human-animal hybrids by the formulae developed by Dr. Anton Sevarius and Gen-U-Tech. The term is generally used to refer to those changed into creatures like Talon, cat-like humanoids with bat-wings and the ability to fire bursts of bio-electrical energy; however, Wolf, after becoming a wolf-human hybrid, was also referred to as a mutate.
