Biography
Origin
Nadia was a female human who was the daughter of Hank Pym and Maria Trovaya. (All-New, All-Different Avengers v1 #9)
She had no memories of her birth mother and instead she grew up in the Red Room where one of her instructors unknown to her was the Winter Soldier. Whilst at the Red Room in Russia, she was trained from a young age to fight but upon showing an aptitude for science her handlers decided to encouraged her on that track of study considering her heritage. During this time, she came to study all her fathers research leading to her eventually disassembling and them reassembling a black market Pym Particle. After unlocking this ability to shrink, she plotted her escape as she wanted to find and meet her actual father. (All-New, All-Different Avengers v1 #9) She then travelled to the United States and went to the Pym residence in order to introduce herself to her father. Whilst there, she learnt on the news that Hank Pym had died leading to a saddened Nadia deciding to use his laboratory in order to honour his legacy by using the equipment there to become the new Wasp. Her first task was to help the Avengers when the Vision's systems were compromised with Nadia shrinking to fix his circuitry. (Free Comic Book Day v1 2016 Civil War II) The Avengers were not aware of her existence as she was studying the synthezoid. Her actions were registered as an attack by the Avengers whilst they were in their base at Avengers Hanger. This caused Nadia to return to normal size and she told them that she was not their enemy with her stating that she was the Wasp. An angry Edwin Jarvis arrived on the scene then where he called her an imposter and that the only true Wasp was Janet van Dyne. It was then that Nadia revealed her parentage with both Edwin Jarvis and Tony Stark accepting the possibility that she was indeed Hank Pym's daughter. Nadia as the Wasp was then vital in preventing the Vision from exploding due to an error in his systems. Afterwards, Jarvis had Nadia accompany him as he wanted to introduce her to the rest of her family and decided to care for her. (All-New, All-Different Avengers v1 #9)
Avenger
Jarvis and Nadia next went to Long Island and meet Janet in Southampton, though they had to rush due to the threat of a Microverse bomb. Together, Nadia and Janet defused the weapon, saving the President of the United States. Realizing how out of touch Nadia was with the real world, Janet took her out for a day out before admitting that, while she'd fight to the death to keep the name, she was fine with sharing it as long as Nadia used it for good. (All-New, All-Different Avengers v1 #12)
Returning to Janet's home, the two Wasps had to deal with W.H.I.S.P.E.R. agents disguised as members of the Russian Consulate; however, news of Bruce Banner's death at the hands of Hawkeye was soon revealed, devastating Nadia. She decided to try to stop the impending Civil War by using her Microverse-based lab to construct a device so that Ulysses could focus his powers; however, the device went critical and Janet, having raced in to stop her, was forced to pull her out. Devastated further, Janet had to tell Nadia that not everything can be fixed by applying science and this was something that had to be fixed through personal means, despite the fact that it felt like she was losing her friends. While Nadia slept, Janet admitted to Jarvis that her innocence and drive was a refreshing thing and that she was proud to have her as a Wasp. (All-New, All-Different Avengers v1 #14)
With McCoy by her side, they went to an operations theatre where she looked to helping heal Jarvis. (Avengers v1 #676)
She later came to join the superhero team known as the Champions. (Champions v2 #19)
G.I.R.L.
In the aftermath of the second superhuman Civil War, Nadia joined the Avengers and Ms. Marvel accompanied her to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services in an effort to help sort her naturalization issues. After the meeting with Deborah Forrester, the pair assisted Mockingbird in taking down Monica Rappaccini, and although the Scientist Supreme escaped, Nadia gleefully spent time with Bobbi, whose work on Project: Gladiator and adventures in the Savage Land had inspired her as a child. After mentioning that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s list of most intelligent humans listed women no higher than 27th, Nadia was prompted to start G.I.R.L., an enterprise to assess the Earth's greatest female scientific minds and convince S.H.I.E.L.D. that their list was outdated and in need of revision. (Unstoppable Wasp v1 #1)
Nadia later received a transmission from Scott Lang who was with the Nova Corps after being with the Guardians of the Galaxy for a time. He requested her aid in bringing him home for his daughters birthday with Nadia constructing a device whereby he would ride the beam back to Earth. However, he missed the signal and became lost in the Microverse with Nadia in pursuit to save him. She arrived with both her and Scott witnessing the native lifeforms being consumed by a violent parasite with them working together to stop it. They managed to stop the creature but it unleashed a blast that left Nadia blinded. (Ant-Man and the Wasp v1 #1)

(Ant-Man and the Wasp v1 #5) She had never known her parents but felt that her life was good as long as she had her intelligence and could use science to solve her problems. She was said to had never taken the test to see what was her ranking among the smartest people in the world as she felt that it did not matter but it was what she did with her intelligence that made the difference. (Unstoppable Wasp v2 #5)
Nadia had longed to meet her father and upon learning of him made her way across the world in order to introduce herself to him. She believed he would have allowed he to call him Henry and would have been proud of her for being resourceful, clever and worthy of the adoration she showed him. (Free Comic Book Day v1 2016 Civil War II) She was also nervous about being introduced to Janet van Dyne and considered herself a step-daughter to her. Nadia can use the Pym Particles in her bloodstream to shrink to sub-microscopic stature. When 99.99 + % of her mass was extra-dimensionally shunted, she was sent into a subatomic universe that was one of countless alternate universes accessible to Earth only by the mass-shunting process, known as the Microverse. (All-New, All-Different Avengers v1 #14)
At her fathers laboratory, she used a variety of items in order to create her Wasp suit. (Free Comic Book Day v1 2016 Civil War II) From her suit, she could deploy small drones that resembled wasps with each possessing different abilities. (Unstoppable Wasp v2 #1)
She constructed a small mobile lab that resembled a pink crystal on a necklace which she was able to enter by shrinking in size. Within the confines of the laboratory, time moved slower with entire days going inside when only hours had passed in the real world.
