History

Nelson and Murdock was a legal practice that was established in New York City by Foggy Nelson and Matt Murdock. (Daredevil v1 #1)

Karen Page was quickly hired by Nelson as a secretary. Nelson and Murdock became high profile attorneys with numerous cases and clients. (Daredevil v1 #1)

Nelson brought his team with him to the District Attorney's Office with Karen Page being hired as a secretary whilst Matt Murdock was hired as a Special Assistant. (Daredevil v1 #58)

After losing the re-election as New York's District Attorney, Foggy Nelson decided to join Matt Murdock as legal partners once again. This saw them establishing Murdock's concept of Storefront Legal Services that was a place where the poor could receive free legal advice. (Daredevil v1 #130) To aid their operations, Foggy looked to hire a receptionist who was legally trained to help in the office work though neglected to inform Murdock. Interviews were conducted of the various candidates with most failing until Matt had decided on Becky Blake to join them. (Daredevil v1 #155)

From the rubble of the Storefront, Foggy Nelson took a phone call from J. Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle. The Bugle was involved in a defamation lawsuit from the Kingpin for a series of articles they had run about the Kingpin's candidate Randolph Cherryh. Nelson negotiated a enormous fee from Jameson. Murdock and Nelson again appeared to put aside their differences. Rebecca Blake continued with the firm as well. The fee from the Bugle was large enough for Nelson and Murdock to become established in a Manhattan high-rise. (Daredevil v1 #178)

They provided legal advice to Tony Stark when he considered sending Iron Man into Transia's western province after militants had acquired stolen Starktech Iron Man Armors for use against the civilian populace. Franklin Nelson warned Stark not to send Iron Man as this would provoke an international incident. (Iron Man: Legacy v1 #1)

Noted attorney Rosalind Sharpe approached Matt Murdock and Franklin Nelson about becoming a partner with them with the two ultimately accepting This led to the firm becoming known as Sharpe, Nelson and Murdock as she took the liberty of choosing their first client which was Mister Hyde. (Daredevil v1 #354)

The firm later decided to represent storeowner Ahmed Jobrani over a police brutality case though events were hampered by the media after Matt Murdock was revealed to be the masked vigilante known as Daredevil. (Daredevil v3 #3)

The Doc Green personality of the Hulk visited Nelson and Murdock's San Francisco offices in order to get the documents that Banner had entrusted to Matt Murdock. However, Murdock refused and stated that his client was Bruce Banner who was the only one who could authorise the release of those files. (Hulk v3 #10)
