The Neomorphs were a parasitic predatory species that were created from hybridization experiments made by David 8 on the site of the Engineer homeworld. Upon arriving on the planet, the Synthetic deployed the black liquid Chemical A0-3959X.91 – 15 that mutated the inhabitants whereupon he looked to create the perfect lifeform.
