History
New Thundera was a planetoid that came to form at the site of the destruction of Thundera.
Afterwards, the planet's existence was discovered by the inhabitants of Third Earth who looked to colonise it. This saw the Ancient Spirits of Evil resurrecting and giving new life to Mumm-Ra who was tasked with travelling to the world in order to build a new Black Pyramid there. Meanwhile, the ThunderCats left behind some of their number on Third Earth whilst they themselves went to New Thundera where they began building a new Cats Lair. (Episode: Return to Thundera, Part 1)
