- 1923: Doctor Who (Expanded Universe) - The Seventh Doctor and Ace arrive in Munich, Germany at the conclusion of the Beer Hall Putsch, when Adolf Hitler and other members of the Kampfbund have been driven away from the War Office. To Ace's surprise, the Doctor encourages Hitler to continue fighting by telling him that he will one day rule Germany, though he quickly clarifies to Ace that this is solely to preserve the integrity of the timeline. As the Doctor and Ace rush back to the TARDIS, they are fired upon by someone with an energy weapon. (Novel: "Timewyrm: Exodus")
- 1954: Doctor Who (Expanded Universe) - The First Doctor, Susan Foreman, Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright attend a performance of "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller in Bristol. (Novel: "The Witch Hunters")
- Main Timeline: The numerous revolutions against the rule of the Soviet Union lead to the fall of the Berlin Wall. (Audio: "Protect and Survive", Comic: "The Broken Man") This event is witnessed by the Doctor at least twice. (Novel: "Autonomy")
- Alternate Timeline: In an alternate timeline created by the Elder Gods in the hope of destroying Earth, another world war known as World War III breaks out between the United States and its allies and the Soviet Union and its allies. Nuclear weapons are used by both sides and hundreds of millions of people are killed in the conflict. This timeline is ultimately negated by the Seventh Doctor. (Audio: "Protect and Survive")
- 2160: Star Trek (Expanded Universe) - Captain Jonathan Archer signs the peace treaty on behalf of United Earth and the Coalition of Planets at Earth Outpost I that ends the Earth-Romulan War. (Novel: "To Brave the Storm")
