Biography
Number Six
For two years, Caprica-Six lived on Caprica. Seducing the ambitious, self-obsessed, arrogant Gaius Baltar, she fools him into believing she was a corporate spy, seeking to gain advantage over her competitors in order to secure a lucrative defense contract. Over the course of two years, she used Baltar to gain access to his work -- even to the extent of re-writing many of his own algorithms -- in order to subvert his own Command Navigation Program for use in the forthcoming Cylon attack to cripple Colonial forces with no warning. Near the end of the two years, she sees a baby in a pram in a market place. The baby's mother is also present but then becomes distracted with someone else talking to her. Caprica-Six takes a closer look at the baby and snaps its neck and walks away looking distressed, possibly to spare it from the imminent cataclysm. She also meets with a Cavil who she gives her a briefcase. The Cavil suggested she kill the body she was in and get a new one to prevent having to die in the attack, suggesting poison. Overview
Personality and attributes
Six were portrayed as a seductive, statuesque Cylon infiltrator. She was the first example shown of a new generation of Cylons capable of adapting to human form and emotions.
Sixes tend to have individualistic traits and are considerably susceptible to the full array of human emotions. Although extremely effective and adaptive, Sixes always show a certain disdain for their given chores and dislike being treated as expendable
Powers and abilities
Like her counterparts, her body was designed to mimic the human body at the cellular level, making her almost undetectable to testing procedures, and there are many copies of her in existence.
She can, like other Cylons, retain memories which can be downloaded into another body if the original body was killed.
Notes
- Number Six was portrayed by actress Tricia Helfer where she featured in the rebooted Battlestar Galactica setting.
- In an interview with Caprica showrunner Kevin Murphy that had the prequel television series continued then it would be revealed that the Sixes' default personality was modeled after that of Zoe Graystone.
