Biography
Origin
Paul Atreides was the son of Duke Leto Atreides and his concubine the Lady Jessica where he was a member of the noble aristocratic House Atreides that ruled the planet Caladan. His birth was part of a centuries long breeding program arranged by the Bene Gesserit sisterhood who wanted Jessica to produce a daughter that would be bred with Feyd-Rautha of House Harkonen. This was with the goal of producing the fabled Kwisatz Haderach but Jessica had fallen in love with the Duke who wanted a son and heir thus leading to her bearing a boy despite the wishes of her superiors.
