History
Planet Namek (Japanese: ナメック星せい, Hepburn: Namekku-sei, lit. "Planet Namek") was an inhabitable world located at coordinates 9045XY within the Universe 7.
It was the homeworld of the Namekians notable for its green skies and pristine environment. Planet Namek was ravaged by storms centuries ago, resulting in a Namekian later known as Kami being sent to Earth. In general, the planet was peaceful, until the invasion of Frieza. The Namekians were forced to evacuate to Earth, as the planet was destroyed by Frieza's actions during his battle with Goku.

- Planet Namek was created by Akira Toriyama where it featured in the setting of the Dragon Ball universe.
