Buzz (TaleSpin)
Buzz was a childhood friend of Baloo's, a short, purple-haired buzzard who worked as a scientist for the research division of Khan Industries. Never seen without his crooked polka-dotted bowtie, Buzz spent all his time in the lab working on all manner of top-secret projects for Shere Khan.
His first invention was an experimental helicopter, which Mr. Perry attempted to steal for the Miniversal Corporation. Buzz was forced to steal the helicopter and stash it in the No-Smokey Mountains to keep it out of Miniversal's hands, and the quick-thinking Perry framed Buzz, telling Shere Khan he was a corporate spy. However, thanks to Baloo and Kit Cloudkicker, Buzz was able to safely return the helicopter to Khan Industries and clear his name.
Some time after this, Professor Buzz presided over Dr. Axolotl's attempted demonstration of his Mechanical Electric Laborer (MEL), and later invented the jetpack that Baloo used in order to stop MEL from kidnapping Shere Khan while posing as comic book hero Bullethead (who Buzz was actually a big fan of).
