Pythona

Pythona was a woman of rank and power in the kingdom of Cobra-La. She was sent by Golobulus to infiltrate the Terrordrome and deliver a message to the Cobra Emperor, Serpentor. She was thought to be an assassin out to kill Serpentor, and Cobra mobilized to prevent her from reaching Serpentor's throne room. However, she was able to fight her way past their security. Once she got to Serpentor, she revealed herself and presented his true destiny to him.

When Serpentor was captured by GI Joe while trying to steal the Broadcast Energy Transmitter, Pythona, along with Nemesis Enforcer and the Dreadnoks rescued him and brought him back to Cobra-La, where they revealed the whole truth of his creation to the Cobra Emperor and placed Cobra Commander on trial. When Lt. Falcon, Sgt. Slaughter and Jinx arrived, Pythona engaged Jinx in battle and seemingly fell to her death.

There were hints of a burgeoning romance between Pythona and Serpentor, though she was killed before it could blossom.
