Red Bamboo Commander

The Red Bamboo Commander led the Red Bamboo base on Letchi Island. A large, fierce, heavyset man, he commanded his subordinates throughout the base and the island itself from his office via a large viewscreen. His real name was never revealed. When Godzilla threatened to destroy Red Bamboo's base he had his second-in-command Captain Yamoto set the entire island to self-destruct, then they boarded their ship and attempted to escape. The Commander was killed when Ebirah appeared and destroyed the ship with his mammoth claw.
