Richard Cromwell

Richard Cromwell is a Human character that features in Nexus: The Jupiter Incident.

Background

Richard Cromwell is a legendary character in Human history as being the first Human born in outerspace. His birth would mark the end of the golden age of space exploration and the start of the colonization era. At ten years old, the young Cromwell would witness the start of the AI War which put a halt to the Human race.

He would later have a son named Marcus Cromwell who he bought an Orbital Limited bond in his name. By the year 2067, Humanity discovered a wormhole. The elder Cromwell would be appointed as the Captain of Noah's Ark which would be tasked with exploring the other end of the wormhole. As a result of the mission, he decided to leave his son behind in Earth space. However, once the ship went through the wormhole, the disturbance collapsed which cut off the ship from Earth. It was believed that everyone who was part of the expedition was killed as a result.
