Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.
Though deceased, Todd came to be resurrected incidentally as a result of Superboy-Prime shattering the walls of reality during the Infinite Crisis. This caused Jason to be brought back to life from his coffin where he eventually came to take the identity of the Red Hood as he sought revenge against the Joker for his death. (Batman Annual v1 #25)

Robin (Damian Wayne)

Damian Wayne was the biological son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul. (Batman v1 #656) As a young boy, he came to finally meet his father who was the vigilante known as the Batman where he came to feel that Tim Drake was undeserving of the mantle of Robin. In fact, he believed he was not an appropriate partner to the Dark Knight as he was only an adopted child. This saw him attacking Drake where he defeated him and claimed a Robin costume for himself where he decided to make himself Batman's new partner. (Batman v1 #657)

- The concept of Robin was created by Bill Finger, Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson where it made its first appearance in Detective Comics v1 #38 (April, 1940).
Alternate Versions
- In Batman: The Dark Knight Returns v1 #1 (1986), an alternate world setting introduced a character named Carrie Kelley who took the mantle of Robin in this universe.
- In Batman and Robin: Futures End v1 #1 (2014) Duke Thomas featured as Robin in the alternate future timeline known as Future's End where he operated as Batman's partner.
