The Rodent was a hired gun in the employ of Lips Manlis, the Rodent earned his name from the fact he both resembled a rat and had an intense hatred of cats. He was among those who were rubbed out by Flattop and Itchy while playing cards, as part of Big Boy Caprice's plan to take over Lips' territory.
