Saurod

Saurod was a member of Skeletor's elite mercenary force sent to Earth to kill He-Man and retrieve the Cosmic Key. He was a green-skinned reptilian alien with a tail, who wore gold armor. Following the mercenaries' failure to acquire the Key and their return to Eternia, Skeletor killed Saurod by zapping him with bolts of red lightning from his fingertips, as an example to Karg, Beast Man and Blade.

Comments

Saurod's origin in the mini-comic The Cosmic Key had both him and Blade presented as gifts to Skeletor when he allied himself with a powerful being known as the Evil Cloud. It is unknown if this is the same origin as the Saurod in the film. In the Star Comics stories, Saurod continues to serve Skeletor after the events of the film due to the fact their comic adaptation of the movie does not have Skeletor killing him.
