The Sectaurs are a species that features in Sectaurs.

History

The Sectaurs were an insectoid race that emerged on the planet Symbion that was home to an advanced humanoid species that engaged in a genetic experiment that spiralled out of control. This resulted in the entire ecosystem on their world changed with the Sectaurs emerging in the aftermath.

Overview

In appearance, the Sectaurs were humanoids but with largely insectoid features with some having human faces yet with insect characteristics such as eyes or antennae whilst others were largely more inhuman with spider-like features.

They were able to link with the Insectoids through a telebond that that bound them together. This allowed them to communicate to the Insectoid and sense its feelings allowing them to summon them or give them specific commands. In such cases, the bond meant that the creature only responded to the person it was telebonded to with them acting aggressively to anyone else that tried to claim them.
