Set (Conan Animated)
The Serpent Men call him a god. The Cimmerians call him a demon. But whatever the title, the great serpent Set is pure evil and supremely powerful.
When the world was young, Set attempted to coil the Earth, but many wizards united against him, including Vathelos and Epimetrius the Sage and banished Set into the Abyss. But Set's Serpent Men still walked the Earth disguised as humans and there was always a great wizard that bore the Black Ring in order to carry out Set's will.
Thousands of years later, the stars fell from the sky. This was what Set was waiting for. The stars were made of a metal appropriatly called Star Metal, and once seven great pyramids were built with a disk of Star Metal a top each one, Set would be free to coil the Earth. Set charged his servant Wrath-Amon with carrying out this task.
Years later, after many set backs, and making a grave enemy of Conan, Wrath-Amon succeeded in opening the Abyss and freeing Set. The great serpent led an army of Serpent Men in the conquest of the world, but after a climactic battle, was defeated and banished back to the Abyss. This time, forever.
