Speak
Speak first appeared after the Deertown Aztecs mistakenly kidnapped Arthur, and decided to marry him off to the lowest creature in the jungle. They chose this strange animal. Afterwards they loaded them both on to a catapult to shoot them into a nearby volcano. Both Arthur and the animal's life were saved when the Tick and Carmelita Vatos flew to Mexico to rescue Arthur. The animal crashed through the window of their jet and with the Tick crashed into the jungle.
As the Tick regained consciousness he hallucinated the animal speaking to him, promising to be his loyal pet forever for saving his life, as it was the law of the jungle. The Tick named the animal Speak, thinking it was an "Aztec Dog" and with it rescued Arthur and Carmelita from the Aztecs. The Tick adopted Speak and brought him back to his and Arthur's apartment in The City.
Later on, it was verified that Speak was in fact not a dog, but a large rodent. Still, he has since become a permanent member of the Tick's family.
Speak has yet to speak again, within a hallucination or otherwise.
