Biography

In an alternate reality, Peter Parker's Aunt May died which put Parker in a state of grief. During his journeys, he was captured and cloned by the scientist Miles Warren. However, after the process was completed, the clone and the original escaped from the labratory but neither knew which was the real Peter Parker. One decided to change his identity and became known as Ben Reilly who dyed his hair blonde and adopted a new superhero persona called the Scarlet Spider-Man. The other remained as Peter Parker and his other persona of Spider-man; this individual also began to think that he was the original Parker.

But when the alternate universes Doctor Curt Connor's conducted a DNA test, he discovered that Ben Reilly was the original and Peter was the clone. The clone of Peter did not accept this truth and begant to resent Ben Reilly as well as growing to hate him. When the Scarlet Spider discovered illegal operations being made by the Kingpin, he went to stop the criminal in his plan. During the battle, the clone Peter arrived but rather then stop Wilson Fisk, he attacked Ben Reilly. As the fight continued, an interdimensional portal was accidently activated and opened a rift in space from which the Carnage Symbiote emerged. The symbiote immediately attached itself to the clone Peter after sensing his rage and when the merger was completed Spider-Carnage was born.

Overview

Personality and attributes

This clone of Peter Parker initially believed himself to be the original after being cloned by Miles Warren. However, the conclusion of Doctor Connor's test revealed that he was infact the clone and not Ben Reilly which resulted in the clone having a deep resentment and even hatred of Ben Reilly for he believed that he had taken everything from him. After the merger with the Carnage symbiote, Spider-Carnage was driven insane and ultimately became a villain with a single goal which was the desire to destroy all of reality. Thus, he was not above allying with villains Spider-man had fought and using them to achieve his goal. The nature of his plans meant that he neglected to inform his allies of his ultimate goal and made them believe that they would gain ultimate power by allying with him.

Like Peter Parker, Spider-Carnage had a keen scientific mind and was capable of making deadly weapons. He also had the necessary knowledge to create webbing through the creation of cartridges which were inserted into the complex web shooters that sprayed webbing in a number of different ways. Furthermore, he was capable of creating the means of destroying every dimension in existence.

Powers and abilities

As he was a clone of Peter Parker, he possessed all of Spider-mans abilities namely those that were relative to a spider which he gained from the radioactive bite of the mutated arachnid. His physical strength was above that of a normal Human and he had Olympic level agility as well as the capacity to stick to about anything. He also gained the use of a Spider-Sense which alerted him of danger that approached him giving him a near procognitive ability to detect harm in any form.

Due to the fact that he possessed the Carnage symbiote, Spider-Carnage had all the abilities of the symbiote in addition to his normal powers. He was capable of using the suits nature to create axes in his hands and turn his fingers into sharp knives to cut his opponents. Furthermore, he was was capable of extending his arms to strike his opponents and produce numerous tendrils allowing him to combat multiple enemies in a single battle. The nature of the symbiote made him also stronger then he was normally and he had the ability of using th shapeshifting nature of the suit to morph clothes allowing him to hide among a crowd.
