- Team Arrow was created by Kevin Smith, Phil Hester, and Ande Parks where they made their first appearance in Green Arrow v3 #13 (May 2002).

- In Arrow, the group formed under Oliver Queen where he initially sought revenge for his father before transitioning into a hero that protected Starling City. This vigilante group initially consisted of Oliver Queen, John Diggle and Felicity Smoak but later included others such as Sara Lance, Laurel Lance, Roy Harper, Thea Queen and others. Felicity affectionately called the group Team Arrow after Roy suggested the name.
