Templar Richard

Templar Richard was an ancient vampire, apparently a former member of the Knights Templar, who somehow came to be imprisoned in a cave beneath the English town of Castletown. In August of 1940, Nazi bombing of the town freed him, and he began feeding on locals. He first attacked Sergeant States, turning him (unknown to anyone else) into a vampire. States' teammates in the Freedom Fighters battled the sword-wielding vampire, who held his own until he was distracted by Albert Bramble. At that point, Nazi bombers attacked Castletown again, causing a stalagtite to break off and stake the Templar through the heart. Sgt. States revived and finished the vampire off, beheading Templar Richard with his shield.
