Biography
Tex
At some point, he acquired a minion in the form of Outlaw Skuzz who was one of the Prairie People. Together, the pair arrived on the resource rich world of New Texas in order to steal a supply of Kerium. In that time, they encountered Angus McBride who Tex Hex captured and left tied up whilst the outlaw forced the Prairie People to mine Kerium for his ship. He loaded a large supply of the mineral onboard his vessel against the warning of McBride who said that Tex had gathered too much for his ship. However, Hex disagreed and launched the ship whilst leaving McBride behind where the vessels engines caused the cliff to collapse seemingly dropping Angus McBride to his death. Whilst a single piece of Kerium powered his ship, McBride's warnings turned out to be true as the large amount of the mineral caused an explosion in the engine causing the vessel to crash back on the planet. The crash apparently killed both Hex and Skuzz both their actions attracted the attention of the supernatural entity known as Stampede who desired a servant for his evil goals. With magic, Tex Hex was resurrected and empowered with dark magic to serve his new master. He used his new power to resurrect Outlaw Skuzz to serve him as they brought a new dark reign to New Texas. Unknown to Hex at the time, McBride survived and was rescued by a medical ship but he had a piece of Kerium in his hand with news of the find spreading to the rest of the galaxy. The news of the resource rich planet attracted the attention of the wider galaxy with countless settlers heading towards New Texas. These included miners, prospectors, traders along with outlaws thus leading to the good as well as the bad to the best and the worst arriving at the world. Such a development played into Stampede's plans as he sought to conquer the world for his own motivations and the large influx of beings provided him a pool of servants. After settlement, Tex Hex was dispatched by his master to gather a gang of evil beings to serve him in dominating New Texas. At first, Tex Hex would arrive in order to put the town's people in place before bringing the rest of the gang to trash the main settlement. This led to the scared mayor of the town sending an emergency message into space requesting galactic marshal to arrive on the world to bring order back to New Texas.
Afterwards, a judge in the form of J. D. McBride and Marshal Bravestarr arrived on the planet. Tex Hex along with Skuzz and Thunderhead were present in the town to witness the lawman who Stampede warned would be a threat to their rule. The three would taunt Marshal Bravestarr who managed to easily defeat Skuzz and Thunderhead leading to a draw being fought with Hex. Bravestarr won the draw by bringing his gun out before Hex could manage to which the outlaw said that the Marshal won fair and square. However, he stated that he did not follow the rules and summoned a pair of ghostly snakes to attack J.D. McBride. In his rush to protect her, Tex Hex shot Bravestarr in the back and put him on a hover bike that he sent at high speeds towards the mountain in the hope of killing him. After defeating Bravestarr, Hex took Thunderhead with him in order to bring the rest of his gang to ransack the town once more now that it appeared that the lone savior of New Texas had been defeated. He would return with his gang and commanded them to wreck the place where they initially seemed to do so unchallenged until BraveStarr returned with his ally Thirty Thirty who together defeat Hex as well as his followers. Though defeated, Stampede's magic teleported the defeat criminals away and back to their base. Once there, Tex Hex sent out the call for every criminal and outlaw on the planet to assemble as part of his army to decimate the town though Stampede scoffed at these vagrants being any challenge to BraveStarr though said he would bring his magical might in the battle. Hex and his army would move to assault the town but they were defeated by BraveStarr as well as his allies who sought to delay the battle whilst they fortified their defenses. An angry Tex Hex would call forth Stampede who manifested on the battlefield where the evil entity called forth his army of skeletal monsters to besiege the town. The Shaman would enter into the battlefield to add his might to BraveStarr but Stampede would wound him with a magical blast causing his staff to fall into the canyon below. BraveStarr sought to acquire the staff for the battle with Stampede dispatching Hex to stop him with the two crashing into one another at superspeeds leaving them both wounded. However, Stampede would empower Hex to give him the power to kill BraveStarr who was saved by Deputy Fuzz allowing the marshal to use his superstrength to defeat Hex. Afterwards, he threw the staff as a spear that pierced Stampede's chest defeating the evil one and drawing all those touched by his magic into a vortex that included Tex Hex.
