Biography

Titanosaurus (Japanese: チタノザウルス, Hepburn: Chitanozaurusu) was a giant aquatic dinosaur kaiju that was discovered by Dr. Shinji Mafune. Although normally peaceful and not agressive in the least, Titanosaurus was controlled by Mafune through his cyborg daughter, Katsura, and sent to destroy the Interpol submarine Akatsuki. This caught the attention of the black hole aliens, who recruited Mafune and Katsura so that they could have Titanosaurus fight alongside Mechagodzilla against Godzilla.

Thanks to the efforts Akira Ichinose and Yuichi Wakayama, it was discovered that Titanosaurus could not stand supersonic waves. Wakayama then designed a special supersonic ocillator, which was used against Titanosaurus. Titanosaurus was ultimately defeated after being hit multiple times by Godzilla's atomic breath. Seriously injured, he fell back into the sea and was never seen again.

Titanosaurus was an adept swimmer who could breathe underwater. He could also leap high into the air, and use his tail fin to create powerful whirlpools in the water or typhoon-force winds on land.

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Titanosaurus was a colossal, bipedal aquatic creature that possessed the structural biological traits of an amphibious theropod dinosaur integrated with marine adaptations. Titanosaurus possessed a textured, bumpy hide covered primarily in a deep reddish-orange coloration, featuring a yellowish-white underbelly and dark, scattered spotting across the dorsal areas. The head featured a slender, elongated snout, a mouth lined with sharp teeth, and two large, prominent yellow eyes with dark pupils. Positioned along the back of the neck and down the spine was a row of tall, thin, membranous dorsal ridges. The upper limbs were short but muscular, terminating in sharp claws, while the lower limbs were heavily built for terrestrial movement. The most distinct physical marker was a massive, fan-like tail fin that could unfold horizontally to resemble a large webbed paddle. Titanosaurus did not wear any garments, uniform, or mechanical armor, remaining entirely in a natural biological state.

Powers and abilities

Titanosaurus was born a member of an ancient prehistoric race where Titanosaurus was a member of a giant amphibious dinosaur species. On a basic feats level, Titanosaurus's immense physical scale granted the creature massive superhuman strength, speed, and durability, allowing Titanosaurus to lift Godzilla off the ground and withstand heavy blunt-force trauma from military artillery. Titanosaurus possessed a highly specialized tail fin assembly that, when rapidly vibrated or swung back and forth, acted as a powerful fan capable of generating localized, hurricane-force wind currents and shockwaves that instantly demolished concrete buildings and knocked over heavy targets from a distance. Additionally, Titanosaurus was a highly proficient swimmer, capable of surviving indefinitely in extreme deep-sea pressures, though the creature lacked any energy-based or thermal projectile attacks and was uniquely vulnerable to high-frequency sonic disruptions, which overloaded its nervous system.

Aside from using teeth and claws to fight, Titanosaurus can, by employing his fluke-like tail as a fan, generate winds strong enough to demolish buildings and hurl debris at great velocities. When used in the water, it creates whirlpools powerful enough to completely immobilize submarines, in addition to its use as a high-powered propeller and rudder.
