Biography
Toni Ho
Her mother had moved from China to Seattle in the 1970s where a decade later she fell in love with and married brilliant medical researcher Ho Yinsen. In time, the couple came to have a daughter where they named her Toni. However, their marriage eventually fell apart causing Yinsen to move back to Timbetpal. (U.S.Avengers v1 #1)
When Toni was 11 years old, Yinsen died saving Tony Stark's life in Sian-Cong. Due to this, Toni came to resent Stark who she believed should had done more to save her father. From that point onwards, Toni resolved herself to be better than him. (U.S.Avengers v1 #8) After the unpleasant experience of high school, Toni began to study programming and engineering. Her talent got her a scholarship to Caltech, where she overlapped studies and eventually got three doctorates. (U.S.Avengers v1 #1)
Toni became a member of the Avengers Idea Mechanics after being bought out by Roberto da Costa. She serves as part of a support team for the New Avengers. (New Avengers v4 #9) Toni took particular interest on studying the nature of Aikku Jokinen, a member of A.I.M.'s New Avengers whose body was merged with an intelligent suit of armor named Pod. (New Avengers v4 #3) Her interest only increased upon merging minds with Aikku in Avenger Five while the New Avengers fought American Kaiju, where she saw Aikku's real face. (New Avengers v4 #10) Toni began to admire Aikku for the sacrifice that meant giving up on a normal life to remain merged with the armor solely to ensure Pod's systems would not reset, which would be the equivalent of killing it. The villainous Maker invaded A.I.M.'s Avenger Base Two when Toni was studying Pod at the base's Engineering Bay, and attacked them, seemingly killing Pod in the process. (New Avengers v4 #13)

- In Avengers Assemble, Toni Ho as Iron Woman appeared in the animated television series in the episode "Into the Future" where she was voiced by actress Laura Bailey. This version was shown to be a resistance fighter from a future that fought against the world ruled by Kang the Conqueror.
