Biography
Zelma Stanton
One day, she awoke and experienced a mysterious itch on her head which she believed to had been a rash. This led to her going to the hospital where everyone was shocked to find a creature manifesting on the top of head with multiple mouths. After kicking her out, Zelma looked for help and decided to seek out Doctor Strange after hearing how he helped someone that had a dog's face growing from their chest. Upon entering the Sanctum Sanctorum, Strange noticed Zelma's condition and noted that he had never seen anything like it. (Doctor Strange v4 #1) He attempted to remove the parasites but the swarm of Mind Maggots ended up escaping into the Sanctum where he had to lockdown the building mystically until he dealt with the threat. Ultimately, the only way for him to deal with them was if they congregated back into their aggregate form and he had Zelma reveal her deepest secrets that she never told anyone with this drawing the parasites back to her. He then had them possess his body where his guarded mental defences meant that they would eventually starve to death. It was then that Doctor Strange had asked if she would help him catalogue his library which had fallen into disrepair with Zelma pleased to do the job with her willing to start immediately. In the aftermath, she came to lament at the loss of magical knowledge caused by recent events. It was then that the Ancient One asked Zelma to aid him in establishing a library with Stanton accepting the offer. (Doctor Strange v5 #11) She was later asked to help in the establishment of Strange Academy which was a school to aid in the training of the next generation of magic users. (Strange Academy v1 #1)

She was particular about books being treated with respect and organised in a proper way with Zelma being horrified at manuscripts being left in a haphazard fashion. (Doctor Strange v4 #2)
