Stolen in bulk by Dr. Viper (presumably from Megakat Biochemical Labs), this hideous mutating ooze flooded Megakat City, transforming every living creature that it touched into a hideous monster. Virus-like, the mutagenic effects of Katalyst X-63 could be transmitted to cats through the bloodstream, as evidenced when one of the mutants bit T-Bone and caused the Swat Kat to turn into a monster, although it is normally harmless to cats otherwise. Viper even used the chemical on himself eventually, transforming into a mutant the size of a building. The only known antidote for X-63 was a special anti-mutagen found in Megakat Biochemical.
