Marvin Branagh was one of the only RPD officers besides Chief Brian Irons himself to to survive the final siege of the Raccoon Police Dept. by zombies in September of 1998, although not withuout grievous and potentially fatal injuries. He formulated an escape plan, sending fellow officer Rita to get help. During this time, he assisted fellow officer Kevin Ryman escape with several civilian survivors of the T-Virus plague.
