Dr. Minakami was the local physician in charge of the hospital at Kitamatsu. He first treated the wounds on Yoshi's body to make him more presentable to his wife, and later did the same for Suteyan, Senkichi and Sgt. Tashiro. When a Meganulon attacked the town and killed two more policemen, Minakami was on the scene and quickly identified the wounds on the bodies as being identical to the ones on the previous victims. Therefore, the Meganulon was the killer. Sometime later, Minakami treated the amnesiac Shigeru.
