Thus, he came to re-create the deadly '''Purple Plague''' that he unleashed on Metropolis. When young scientist '''Henry Travers''' worked on creating a cure, the Ultra-Humanite had his men sent to eliminate him but they were thwarted by the intervention of Superman.
