History

AeroTech Industries was a corporation created on Earth whose origins were not entirely known except that it was active during the time of the 21st century. It was said that the company had been founded in the year 2015. (Episode: ...Tell Our Moms We Done Our Best) During that time, they were responsible for the development of the Vesta and Tellus colonial missions as humanity expanded into the stars. These launches were conducted from the Francis R. Scobee Colonial Launcher Center at Corpus Christi, Texas on Earth. (Episode: Pilot, Part 1) AeroTech was involved in the study of the Chig corpse that was on Mars. Howard Sewell was present on the U.S.S. Saratoga after a survivor was found from the Tellus colony with the Deputy Director having a meeting with the sole remaining colonist. (Episode: The Farthest Man from Home)

This corporation played a critical role during the resultant Chig War where they aided the military against the menace posed by the alien invaders. Following the 58th Squadrons escape from the Kezbek mining colony, they had managed to retrieve a previously unknown ore which AeroTech acquired. After that event, the material became the property of AeroTech Industries that studied the material and named it Sewell Fuel. Upon the completion of the study of the ore, Deputy Director Howard Sewell was dispatched to the USS Saratoga in order to brief the military personnel of a new development. This was their conclusion which concured with naval intelligence that the development of a prototype alien fighter that ran on Sewell Fuell was a threat to Operation: Roundhammer. hus, their conclusion was that the enemy ship had to be destroyed before they cold proceed with further operations. (Episode: The Angriest Angel, Part 2)

After suffering from exhaustion, members of the 15th Earth Fleet were allowed R&R activities to be held on the AeroTech pleasure craft Bacchus. (Episode: R&R)
