Dr. Cornelia Stallman was a highly skilled optometrist and friend of Jeffrey Robbins. In late 1996, she was called in to aid the gargoyle Hudson, who was losing his remaining good eye to glaucoma. Excited by the prospect of working with a gargoyle, she readily agreed. Despite an attempt by the Quarrymen to intervene, Stallman's surgery was successful.
