00 Agents were elite special operatives of MI6 who served the United Kingdom in covert operations.
Overview
Agents had a discretionary 'Licence to Kill' in the field in order to complete their mission.
It was said that 00 Agents faced mandatory retirement at 45 years of age. New agents were assigned when a current agent was either dismissed, resigned, retired or killed in the field.
