This saw him being disappointed in failing to surprise his sister though he came upon the idea of using a Guardian to delve into the Black Garden and to destroy the heart which would aid in the recovery of the Traveler. Following the meeting with the Queen, he met with Joylon who asked Uldren not to reveal his findings of the Black Garden public knowledge.
