Biography
Leorio Paradinight (Japanese: レオリオ゠パラディナイト, Hepburn: Reorio Paradinaito)
At some point, he came to lose his best friend to a debilitating illness with Leorio feeling remorseful at not being able to save him. This was because the illness was curable but they lacked the money for the necessary surgery. It was this tragedy that led to Paradinight deciding to become a doctor.
He came to board a ship that departed from Whale Island for the testing site of the 287th Hunter Exam.

In appearance, Leorio Paradinight was a tall, manly-looking, fairly muscular young man with small brown eyes, black hair, and a spiked crew cut. After becoming one of the Zodiacs he came to given the codename of the Boar (亥い, I).
At first, Leorio was seemingly selfish and a narcissist who seemed fixated on the acquisition of material wealth. This often saw him stating that he was only after money. However, he later came to reveal that his goal was to become a doctor and to help the poor.
